San Diego Comi-Con 2010 recap

This year, I was invited by Capcom (courtesy of Francis M., and Eric P., who initially set us up) to be a featured artist to sketch at their booth for this year's San Diego Comi-Con! The booth set-up was awesome and turnout was great! Capcom really did a great job in getting the space to look all sorts of kickass! The SDCC traffic was more than I'd expected—I was originally slated for three hours of sketching, but ended up staying for just a little over six, and took up the time slot for Capcom artist extraordinaire, Long Vo.

Long, if you read this, sorry about that. I thought we'd be sketching side-by-side, man!

Francis, thank you for all you've done, and continue to do! I really appreciate it, good sir!

Eric, like Batman and Robin, like Clu and Rinzler, partners in crime, my friend. Thanks for setting me up while I was down there! (Tron: Legacy action figures in stores now!!! Go check them out!)

Once the Capcom session was finished, it was off to the races to try and buy as much as I could. Unfortunately, Hasbro's 19" Galactus (sold out), Kid Robot Dunny exclusives (sold out), Gears Of War: Jace Stratton (sold out), Chris Sanders' 2010 sketchbook (missed it), Adam Hughes' Cover Run (sold out)... You see a pattern here? Needless to say, I saved myself a lot of money this year.

Until next time, it's back to the drawing board!
