Sneak Peek!

Here is an exclusive look at one of my several upcoming projects! More details will be made available in the coming months, so be sure to check back for the latest news!

These trading cards are the size of standard baseball cards, and each are original drawings I will be doing myself. The card backs will feature unique designs, specific to each set's theme. The cards above were made for DeviantArt.com members, and this is the first time I've shown them online!

Once I launch this project, I will be releasing different themed sets of cards. Some will be reprinted works, and there will be plenty of opportunities to get your very own sketch card!

Until next time!

Wondercon 2010 recap

Hello, folks!

Well, Wondercon 2010 has come and gone, and it was fun while it lasted. MANY thanks to Francis up at Capcom for being so kind as to invite me to be a part of the booth this year! Also, a big thanks to my buddy Eric for making it all possible! It was a fantastic experience, and I look forward to many more in the future.

So, here's a little visual journal of the trip...

It started with a nice drive at 4:30 in the morning, when nature called. It was a brisk 41 degrees when I got out of the car; which, by the standards of you in the Midwest and East Coast, is a warm day, but for we Californians, it's pretty chilly.

The drive up to San Francisco on the I-5 really isn't all that scenic. A few cows, some wind power generators, and a lot of open sky.

Here we are at the Moscone Center, in the wee hours of Wondercon opening its doors to the fans.

A little shot of the Capcom booth...

And here I am, alongside one of the Street Fighter Lead Designers, Long Vo. Long is a great guy, and he and his counterpart, Koi, were a big help over the weekend.

This kid would not stop bothering me. Kept asking for candy and sketches, so I had to call in security. Casey-kun!

I didn't have much time to photograph my sketches, and there were a few that I really wish I did, but here are couple. The Spongebob Ryu was for Francis' son, and Spawn even made it into the mix. :)

I wish I had more pictures, but it was a rough drive. Then, once the Con started rolling, it was a mad dash to the finish. There will be more events like this coming up, so keep checking in to see what's next!

I hear San Diego is nice in July...
